- Cook burger to desired doneness. While burger is cooking toast bun.
- To assemble put burger on bun, top with umami butter and serve.
Umami Butter
Prep 20 min | Yield 14.5 oz
- Grind the dried mushrooms in a spice grinder to a powder.
- Bring the butter to room temperature. In a small bowl, combine the butter, onion jam and mushroom powder. Mix to combine, season with salt if needed.
- When evenly mixed, transfer the butter with a spatula to parchment or wax paper and roll tightly into a log, then tie the ends closed with string or plastic wrap. Chill in freezer.
